This 7-day safari takes you into the heart of Serengeti National Park to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular wildlife events. You’ll also explore Tarangire National Park (famous for elephants) and the Ngorongoro Crater (a UNESCO site with dense wildlife).

Day 1Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport
Pickup by your safari guide and transfer to hotel
Overnight: Hotel/lodge in Arusha

Day 2 Arusha → Tarangire National Park

Drive 2–3 hours to Tarangire
Game drive in park famous for elephants and baobabs
See lions, giraffes, zebras, and large elephant herds
Overnight: Lodge near Tarangire
 
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 3Tarangire → Central Serengeti

Scenic drive (~6 hours) through the Ngorongoro Highlands
Game drive en route through Seronera Valley
Spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and resident game
Overnight: Tented camp in Central Serengeti
 
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 4 Central Serengeti → Migration Zone (North, West, or South)

Move deeper into the Serengeti based on migration location:

🌊 Jul–Oct: Northern Serengeti (Mara River crossings)
Full-day game drive with picnic lunch
Overnight: Mobile or permanent camp in migration zone

Day 5 Migration Area → Ngorongoro Crater

Morning game drive en route out of the Serengeti
Afternoon descent into Ngorongoro Crater, home to Big Five
Spot rhinos, hippos, elephants, lions in a lush caldera
Overnight: Lodge near crater rim or in Karatu

Day 7Return to Arusha & Departure

Visit local craft market or Maasai village (optional)
